Overview

Fire is a recoverable spatial hazard. It starts from a disaster event, appears on map cells, and gives the player a visible recovery problem instead of a hidden penalty.

Triggers and outcomes

Fire is spawned when the event table rolls a disaster that maps to wildfire. The hazard seeds from an existing building footprint when possible, otherwise from the map centre, then spreads through neighbouring buildable cells until the recovery loop removes it.

Related buildings, resources, and achievements include threatened structures, Wood pressure, hazard recovery Chronicle entries, and any recovery achievements that cite the first survived fire.

Accessibility and screenshots

The page evidence should include the generated infobox plus a hazard overlay screenshot when available. The in-game presentation must use labels, icons, and status text so fire remains understandable in grayscale and reduced-motion modes.
