Overview

Flood is a recoverable spatial hazard. It gives disaster events a map-visible footprint so the player can see what is affected and how recovery changes the city state.

Triggers and outcomes

Flood is spawned when a disaster event maps to the flood hazard. It seeds from an existing building footprint when possible, otherwise from the map centre, then remains visible while the hazard system advances and recovery resolves it.

Related buildings, resources, and achievements include threatened districts, Food and Gold pressure, Chronicle recovery entries, and any achievements that cite surviving the first flood.

Accessibility and screenshots

The page evidence should include the generated infobox plus a flood overlay screenshot when available. The in-game presentation must combine water visuals with iconography and text so it remains readable without colour or motion.
