Overview

The Glass Tower is a commercial building of the Modern Era that powers trade: it draws custom and turns the flow of goods and people into gold and prosperity for the treasury.

As a Commercial structure, the Glass Tower belongs to the commercial side of the city. Introduced in the Modern Era, the age of glass and the wired grid.

Gameplay

Build cost. Raising the Glass Tower costs 2 Gold and 50 Energy. Plan the spend against your current stockpiles before you commit the plot.

Footprint. It occupies a 2x2 plot, so leave room on the map before you place it.

Height. The Glass Tower can rise to 20 floors, so its value is not only the footprint on the street but the vertical capacity you can stack above it.

Output. Once built it produces 120 Gold and 10 Knowledge each turn, feeding Gold and Knowledge into your economy.

Upkeep. It draws 10 Energy in upkeep every turn whether or not it is producing, so weigh the running cost against the benefit.
