<!-- ERAPOLIS:SCREENSHOT:END -->
The Workshop / Logistics layout is an interior floor plan for production and goods-handling buildings, where the player runs a primary workbench and routes finished output to a loading dock.
Triggers
Opening the interior of an industrial building, or a small commercial building, lays out the shop-floor shell: a primary workbench, a storage block, and dock anchors for outbound goods.
Controls
The Primary station drives the workbench, the Support station holds the storage stacks, and the Service station marks the dock handoff where finished units leave the building; carrier motes track along the lower lane. Tapping the workbench begins a production pass and each completed unit is locked at the dock.
Outcomes
A completed pass adds finished goods to the building output and arms a short efficiency buff. Falling behind the lane only lowers the yield for that pass; there is no penalty beyond the missed output, and the next pass starts clean.
Accessibility
The one-tap auto-resolve fills every remaining round at the fair baseline result and finishes the layout immediately, so the workbench timing is never required. The workbench, storage stacks, and dock lane remain distinct when entered.
Related buildings
Industrial buildings such as the Lumber Yard and Iron Foundry, plus smaller commercial buildings, host the Workshop / Logistics shell.
Screenshots & static variants
Era materials change the surface finish of the workbench and crates, but the dock lane and anchor grid stay fixed, so the layout reads identically across ages.
Version history
Added during the interior interaction backfill; no mechanic changes recorded since.
