Overview

The Wood Pile is an industrial building of the Stone Age that drives production: it turns raw materials and effort into the goods, materials, and wealth that the rest of the city is built on.

As a Industrial structure, the Wood Pile belongs to the industrial side of the city. Available from the Stone Age — one of the city's earliest works.

Gameplay

Build cost. Raising the Wood Pile costs 15 Gold. Plan the spend against your current stockpiles before you commit the plot.

Footprint. It occupies a 1x1 plot, so leave room on the map before you place it.

Height. The Wood Pile is a single-floor building, which keeps its layout simple but makes the surrounding road and service network carry more of the planning weight.

Output. Once built it produces 3 Wood each turn, feeding Wood into your economy.

Upkeep. It has no recurring upkeep, which makes it cheap to keep standing once it is built.
