Overview

The Spaceport is a commercial building of the The Beyond that powers trade: it draws custom and turns the flow of goods and people into gold and prosperity for the treasury.

As a Commercial structure, the Spaceport belongs to the commercial side of the city. Introduced in The Beyond, the era of arcologies and the orbital dawn.

Gameplay

Build cost. Raising the Spaceport costs 7 Gold, 90 Energy, and 60 Knowledge. Plan the spend against your current stockpiles before you commit the plot.

Footprint. It occupies a 4x3 plot, so leave room on the map before you place it.

Height. The Spaceport is a single-floor building, which keeps its layout simple but makes the surrounding road and service network carry more of the planning weight.

Output. Once built it produces 420 Gold, 6 Happiness, and 12 Knowledge each turn, feeding Gold, Happiness, and Knowledge into your economy.

Upkeep. It draws 40 Energy in upkeep every turn whether or not it is producing, so weigh the running cost against the benefit.

Interior & support

Use the Workshop / Logistics support view for the Spaceport. Its interior support treats the building as a trading floor: stock, service counters, and delivery paths explain why placement near busy routes matters.
