Overview
The Bronze Smithy is an industrial building of the Bronze Age that drives production: it turns raw materials and effort into the goods, materials, and wealth that the rest of the city is built on.
As a Industrial structure, the Bronze Smithy belongs to the industrial side of the city. Introduced in the Bronze Age, as metal and trade take hold.
Gameplay
Build cost. Raising the Bronze Smithy costs 35 Wood and 60 Stone. Plan the spend against your current stockpiles before you commit the plot.
Footprint. It occupies a 1x1 plot, so leave room on the map before you place it.
Height. The Bronze Smithy can rise to 2 floors, so its value is not only the footprint on the street but the vertical capacity you can stack above it.
Output. Once built it produces 0.45 Gold each turn, feeding Gold into your economy.
Upkeep. It draws 1 Wood in upkeep every turn whether or not it is producing, so weigh the running cost against the benefit.
