Overview

The Grain Farm is an agriculture building of the Bronze Age that feeds the city: it converts land and labour into a steady food supply that keeps the population fed and growing.

As a Agriculture structure, the Grain Farm belongs to the agriculture side of the city. Introduced in the Bronze Age, as metal and trade take hold.

Gameplay

Build cost. Raising the Grain Farm costs 80 Wood and 20 Stone. Plan the spend against your current stockpiles before you commit the plot.

Footprint. It occupies a 2x2 plot, so leave room on the map before you place it.

Height. The Grain Farm is a single-floor building, which keeps its layout simple but makes the surrounding road and service network carry more of the planning weight.

Output. Once built it produces 9 Food each turn, feeding Food into your economy.

Upkeep. It draws 0.2 Gold in upkeep every turn whether or not it is producing, so weigh the running cost against the benefit.

Interior & support

Use the Extractor Yard support view for the Grain Farm. Its interior support uses the field-and-barn loop: crews tend the plot, move the harvest, and keep the food line visible without turning the page into a separate minigame guide.
