Event Bronze Age
Ford the River?
A wagon train of pioneers has reached the river at the edge of your land. The water is three feet deep. Their leader asks your advice: ford it, caulk the wagons and float, or wait for a ferry?
This event can occur from the Bronze Age through the Industrial Age.
An affectionate nod
This is one of Erapolis's homage events: a fond wink at the city builders and strategy games that came before it, told with Erapolis's own characters and words. Like every homage event, it is optional flavour: one of its choices always costs nothing, and none of them stands in the way of your city.
Making the choice
Events arrive as a card over your city. Pick one of its choices; a choice that needs resources you don't have is greyed out. A building left in ruins does nothing until you tap it and choose Repair, which costs part of its price.
